The Volunteer team at Grantham Museum is gearing up for next weeks’ Gravity Fields festival in the town, which runs from Wednesday 21st To Sunday 25th September. In the next few days we are installing new exhibits with a scientific theme, to appeal to people of all ages.

The centrepiece is a giant whiteboard where visitors will be invited to write their personal message to Isaac Newton, who went to school in the town. The Museum will be tweeting favourite messages throughout the festival.

Other exhibits include science bygones, children’s science experiments, and a new Newton statue, and ‘Newton’s Diary’ on the day he discovered Gravity, written by St Mary’s School in Grantham.
