The Volunteer Open Evening, which took place on Wednesday 29th February at the Grantham Museum, was a great success and generated a fantastic amount of interest and general support. The evening was a great opportunity to display the designs for the museum put forward by the Smith and Jones Partnership. There was also a talk about the fascinating Heritage Hub, which was very well received by the public.
Crucially, the Volunteer Support Team at the Grantham Community Heritage Association (GCHA) was successful in their efforts to recruit for a variety of roles at the museum. We would all like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the open evening to show their support, whether this was by purchasing a membership, signing up for volunteering with the GCHA or by attending as an interested party. As we are an entirely voluntary organisation your involvement is greatly appreciated, as the gift of your time is such an invaluable asset towards helping preserve the town’s unique heritage. So Thank You!
