The Role and the Challenge

Volunteer Committee Member – Preserving the heritage of Grantham. Become a member of a small project team responsible for recruiting and supporting other volunteers to enable the Grantham Museum to re-open in 2012.

Activities

• Support Volunteer Director as member of Volunteer Committee
• Take a lead in one or more project tasks such as:
• Recruitment of volunteers
• Training volunteers
• Supporting volunteers
• Producing volunteer policies, procedures and other documentation but closely operating with other members of the team and Volunteer Director
• Regularly attend team meetings and keep progress report up to date
• Co-ordinate project with other projects and liaise as appropriate with Supervisors
• Meet project deadlines

When and Where?

Immediate Start – home-based but meeting attendance expected.
